Ruivaldo "Valdo" currenlty studies at the at the United World College of the Adriatic, Italy. Valdo loves cultural exchanges and he has great amount of experiences living and traveling abroad. He wants to study Economics and Engineering, and he loves playing football.

Jora is a student at the Li Po Chun United World College, Hong Kong. Jora is passionate about social issues and she has been involving in the DMUN for the past two years. Jora wants to pursue a degree in Economics later University.
Rose Merry da Gloria Borges

Rose studies international relations at the National University of Timor-Leste. She is the founder of Dili Model United Nations and the first Secretary-General of DMUN 2015. Rose passionates about music and photography

Fernando A. T. Ximenes

Under-Secretary-General for Administration

Fernando studies International Relations at the UNTL. Fernando is passionate in writing articles related to social issues and co-founded Clubo Estudo Estrategico, a club for academic research and studies. Fernando started as a delegate of DMUN 2015, and he co-chaired Security Council in DMUN 2016

Basiraldo Guterres

Basiraldo "Toto" is one of the executives at the Timor-Leste Youth for Peace. Toto has worked for the TLYfP since 2015 and has been delegates for DMUN for the past two years.

Agostinho Tavares

Under Secretary-General for Logistic Coordination

 

Agostinho currently works as a liason for the Ministry of Planning and Strategic Investment and Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Agus previously worked with the g7+ based in Dili. He has a bachelor degree in International Relations from Udayana University, Bali.

Claudia Pinto

Under-Secretary-General for Logistic coordination

 

Claudia is a student at the Li Po Chun United World College, Hong Kong. She is passionate about arts, drawing and reading Portuguese literature. Claudia has been representing Timor-Leste in many international youth events. She is planning to do architecture.

Fladimir cuurently studies at the United World College of South East Asia, Singapore. Fladi is talented artist and was one of the member of Timor Furak dance group.

Jenisse Charmes Da Silva

Fundraising Coordinator

 

Jenisse currently studies at the United World College Maastricht, the Netherlands. Jenisse is passionate about social issues, women empowerment, and making new friends. Jenisse is going to study Law at IE University, Spain, this fall.

Timor-Leste Youth for Peace was founded in 2009 by students attending Initiative for Peace Conference (IfP) in Dili, is a high school and university youth-led organization, which aims to promote peace and sustainability in the community. Numerous activities has been done by TLYfP to raise awareness of communities and students such as Dili Cleaning day, planting trees and campaign with high school students. TLYfP also joined Peace One Day organization in annual celebration for the international Peace day, and have been collaborated in some activities run by other NGOs such as Sport Impact.

United World Colleges (UWC) is an international movement that uses education as force to unite people, nations and culture for Peace and Sustainable future. UWC comprises from 15 colleges in all over the world, offers a two-year educational system that allows students to be critical minded and challenging them to go out from their comfort zone, and change the world. UWC has given numbers of scholarships to Timorese students since 2004.
